Here are the precautions regarding the types of hydraulic oil and when to refill or replace them. "Brake fluid" is non-mineral oil-based and is generally used in vehicles, while "mineral oil" is mineral oil-based and is a common machine lubricant. When refilling or replacing, always use hydraulic oil of the same brand.
